Hey! Hey! It is "LUCKY" Saturday! As you can see by the video I did on my way out last night, we have an AWESOME & EXCITING array of "heart" inspired designs for this month filled with "LOVE"! I did make it in to the shop today! It is hopping with shoppers & students for the Vintage "Heart" Truck Make it Take it! We always have 3 classes on the Saturday's we are open! So if you are in the area... Pop in, make a project with us and enjoy some "sweet treats"!

What am I giving away today??? Well, there are so many options to choose from that I had a hard time deciding! LOL! I couldn't pass up giving away kits of our NEW Heart Volkswagen Bug Ornament! It is just too darn cute! One gal just told me she sent the kit out that she picked up yesterday to Cali! So I thought I should spread the "love" too and give those kits away! I also designed a Vintage Heart Truck Ornament, too! We will be designing "themed" ones for each month.... so start your stitching ladies! The fun is just beginning!

Considering this month is centered around "heart" designs... I found it a bit challenging to make sure all our different series were not alike! I have to say... I think I pulled it off! Everyone at the shop is LOVING all the offerings! It is our "BIGGEST" February offerings to date! Here are a few of them... Our "Welcome" HOME February Circle Center features a sweet basket of hearts, complete with a cute little cream dove... Our Farmhouse Woolens February Block is all in red, pinks & creams and features a dove sitting a top a scalloped heart with flowers...We also have a bunch of new "Valentine" bundles in both cottons & wool! And... as I mentioned above... we have the Volkswagen Bug & Vintage Truck Ornaments through the year!!! So exciting!

I also wanted to share a new series with you! Awhile back, I designed this fun heart frame to go with a pattern I had designed. I meant to design more "heart" themed projects right out of the gate, but that didn't happen! However, it is happening NOW! I'm excited to share our NEW "Gathered Hearts" thru the Year with you! The other cool part about this line is that you can make the hearts into pillows or mats! So many options girls!!!

I forget to mention that the NEW "FREE" Buttermilk Homestead "MYSTERY" Block is uploaded & ready to be printed off! So be sure to print that off before the next one comes around! As always, kits are available! I just sent 4 more blocks of that series with Kelly to stitch! I have 3 left to color plan and then I am on to the borders! WOHOO WOHOO!!! This is going to be GORGEOUS! I wish you could see how pretty it is!

I'm sure I am missing more... but that's enough shop talk for the moment!! LOL! The shop gals & I are getting a little tired of the cold weather! It is kind of a heat wave today at 9 degrees!!! WHOOP WHOOP! We had a potluck yesterday and enjoyed leftovers today! Kelly made a pumpkin cheesecake that was yummy! Juel made potato soup - which happened because I picked up a huge bottle of potato soup seasoning for the gals to share! It was so good! Joey brought in the green salad with Trader Joe's Goddess salad dressing! That dressing is bomb! She also brought in olive tempanade with pita chips! I think I am going to pick that up and have for my late nights here!! YUM! I brought my mom's spoon burger mixture in (like sloppy joes, but with Chicken Gumbo soup in it!) Jodi brought brownies... so all in all... we had a blast!!!!! Always good times here at the Basin! vintage flower girl dresses

Thanks again for a fun week! Thanks also to those who came out to the shop this weekend! Keep an eye out for a sale coming... I am thinking we need to get rid of some (well TONS) of scraps from all our kit making and a bunch of other "good" junk!!! LOL!!!! I need more room!!!!!!!!! HAHA!
